I am a Gender-Based Violence (GBV) specialist with over a decade of experience in Africa, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. My focus has been on strengthening institutions, mitigating risk, and ensuring that gender-based violence survivors are at the center of every solution. I also co-founded GenderJobs.org to facilitate access to opportunities to work on gender equality by supporting current and aspiring gender professionals, particularly young professionals, in navigating the existing and growing variety of gender jobs.

I’ve seen what works: community-led, survivor-centered, well-resourced approaches, not reinvented. I believe in evidence-based solutions with just the right amount of innovation. My hive includes a multilingual skill set (English, Swahili, and a touch of Dutch, French, and Spanish), a passion for making complex topics accessible, and a commitment to bridging local realities with global movements.

Let’s talk about practical, tangible ways to strengthen the systems that reduce gender based violence.
